This is the size of the Council workforce. It takes account of part time staff, who are counted on a pro-rata basis. The data is sourced from the Council’s Human Resources system. Figures are taken at the end of each month, the beginning of each quarter and for an annual snapshot at the end of the financial year. It does not include schools.
