Client level Data (CLD) is a data set containing details about Adult Social Care service users and informal carers, who are supported by local authorities in England.
The CLD data is created from data submitted to NHS England by Arden & GEM (AGEM), who collect data from local authorities on a quarterly basis: Adult Social Care Client Level Data - NHS England Digital
The LGA has published a benchmarking report that uses data from the CLD collection, this report summarises the number of adults accessing long-term adult social care support.
