Census 2021 was taken on 21 March 2021. It gives the most accurate estimate of all people and households in England and Wales. It is used to shape public services.

This data set will signpost to published data from ONS (Office for National Statistics), reports created by the Performance and Business Intelligence team at Calderdale, plus analysis and tools created by other organisations.

The Office for National Statistics has published the Census 2021 Census Output Area and Lower Layer super output areas on its ONS Geoportal website. This file lists the Census 2021 COAs and LSOAs for Calderdale, and information confirming whether they are the same as those for Census 2011, or are new.
