A data set which shows the total number of highway claims (carriageway and footway), number of those claims conceded, and payments made for vehicles, bicycles and personal injuries for incidents occurring in the year stated. 'Payments' includes all legal costs, disbursements and compensation. “Conceded” means claims in which the council is legally liable to pay compensation. (Not all claims are finalised. Liability may still to be decided or liability has been agreed but settlement amounts still under negotiation) Data from 2020/21 to 2024/25.
