Defibrillator for Crow Wood Park

The Performance and Business Intelligence Team at Calderdale Council have raised £1000 to fund a Community Public Access Defibrillator (CPAD) at Crow Wood Park as part of the Yorkshire Ambulance Charity 999 scheme. The money was handed over to the Friends of Crow Wood Park at their monthly coffee morning in September. The defibrillator has now arrived and will be installed on the pavilion shortly.

Most of the team’s fundraising took place in the office before COVID so thanks to all in the team who helped with bake sales and sweepstakes (and to those from other teams who also contributed) as well as running a stall at the park open day.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed.
