Council budget

Council budget

The Council budget for Calderdale Council is agreed by the full Council at the annual budget meeting in the last quarter of the previous financial year. The data in this dashboard is broken down by directorate, service, cost centre and type of cost.

Central control accounts contain all income and grants which are not ring fenced. These include locally raised taxes (Council tax, Business rates, etc) and general government grants (Revenue support grant, Business rates top up, New homes bonus, etc). All ring fenced income and grants are within their related budget. For the full data behind this dashboard, see Council budget.
