Schools data
Schools datasets
Schools data comes from several sources:
-
School census data
All schools and academies are required to submit a census to the Department for Education every term. The evidence and data contained within the census helps to provide a clearer picture of how the school system is working. The Department for Education use the data to ensure that funds are allocated to the areas they are needed, so that no child misses out on the education they deserve.
We have several datasets on Data Works that have data collected through the census:
-
School admissions
Each year, data is released on the preferences, allocations and appeals related to the annual schools admission process for children starting primary education, or moving from primary to secondary education within Calderdale:
-
