#Clean Air Day – Air Quality Dashboard

Ahead of Clear Air Day on 20 June, we’ve published our new interactive dashboard using live data from the three air quality monitoring stations around Calderdale:

The dashboard displays the live feed from the air quality stations measuring NO2, PM2.5 and PM10 showing average levels for the last two days against the year to date and with a timeline for the last 24 hours.

The data files are periodic (15 minutes) measurements of the concentration of nitrogen dioxide and particulate matter in the air.  The units are measured in micrograms per cubic metre (PM2.5 and PM10 are fine particulate matter).

Improving the environment in Calderdale is a priority for this Council. It is fundamental to our Vision 2024 ambition of the place we want to be in the future.

Thursday 20 June is Clean Air Day and it’s a great chance to do your bit and help make the air cleaner and healthier for everyone.  For more information about Clear Air Day, visit – www.calderdale.gov.uk/letscleartheair and follow on twitter using the hashtags #LetsClearTheAir and #CleanAirDay
